Be on dating in the dark
After the one-on-one dates, each contestant can choose to invite another that they wish to see.The contestants enter the dark room for the final time and are revealed to each other one at a time.In “Dating in the Dark” we try to find an answer to an age-old question: can you fall in love with someone just listening to her/his voice, stroking her/his skin, or smelling her/his scent?Can you fall in love without seeing the person you have in front?They will live together in a house but in separate areas. However, the audience, by means of infrared cameras installed throughout the room, will be able to observe what happens.The only time they will meet will be in the “Black Box”, a special room where they will be completely in the dark: they will have to follow their instincts and rely on hearing, touch, smell and … After various dates during which they get to “know” each other, in the last episode they have to choose their favorite partner.Throughout the show, the host, Rossi Morreale, provides the men and women with additional insights by providing personality profiles showing which contestants are their best matches and also allowing them to view items the others have brought to the house, such as items of clothing or luggage.
Three men and three women move into a house, but they can only meet their housemates of the opposite sex in a dark room.
Parents need to know that this dating series -- in which men and women choose prospective partners without actually seeing what they look like -- has a fair bit of kissing/makingo ut and sexual innuendo (including discussions about looking “sexy” and some brief conversations about prior sexual experience).
The language is generally mild ("hell," "damn"), with occasional stronger profanity (like “s--t”) fully bleeped/blurred. Overall, it’s not the best fit for tweens and younger teens, but older teens should be able to handle it.
After several meetings and choosing one partner, they’re shown each other’s physical appearance and must decide if they’d like to continue dating.
